I have a WebSocket server that works as a relay for player-to-player communication. It's also connected to a MySQL database also handles login, authentication and more.

If a player joins when the server is empty, that player becomes the "host" and is responsible for calculating collisions and more. When the "host" leaves, another player takes over that responsibility.
